After you’ve been doing yoga for a little while things start to shift and change – both in the body and the mind. You might feel healthier and more balanced, you could be a bit more flexible and your tightness can show up, you can recognise your strengths and discover your weaknesses. You might see your reactions and how you deal with difficulties. Overall you’ll probably feel different and you might be noticing subtle shifts as well as the obvious. Yoga never changes but it changes us.
This Level 1 workshop, suitable for students with some yoga experience, will be an opportunity to look a little more deeply into your yoga practice and develop more understanding.
We’ll practice the asanas you know and some that you may not, such as arm balances and inversions, if you’re ready… and you’ll learn more about using props to access more depth. We’ll do some restorative practice as well as take a peek at Pranayama (breathwork).
